This project involved the transformation of a historic steel factory into the new training facility for the Chinese National Ice Hockey Team in preparation for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The design retains much of the factory’s original industrial character, blending these elements with modern training facilities. Features include a Premier Lounge designed to offer a luxury viewing experience, as well as a double-floor-height bottle display that adds a striking visual element to the interior. The sports bar and main concourse areas incorporate industrial design cues while offering a comfortable and functional space for athletes and visitors alike.
